Every year I do an average of 2 -3 destination weddings, even with the complexities and inconveniences of travel nowadays, not to mention all the stress of baggage full of gear that you hope makes it there with you. Yet usually the trade off can be an unbelievable experience.
Kelly and Zarani were my green card to Nicaragua. When they approached me to shoot their wedding I remember asking them why Nicaragua, and is it even safe to get married there? What a typical American response, right? They had visited Nicaragua now 5 times and they simply just had a love for the country- obviously they saw something very special and I’m so thankful that I got to go on this amazing journey with them.
About 80 family members and friends flew from all over the world to come and share the experience, and of course have a blast. They were a fun and friendly group indeed, full of energy and love for the couple. I think we all owe Kelly and Zarani a BIG thank you for picking such an incredible place for us to get a chance to explore.
